PoolWerx Corporation began as a modest team of mobile pool cleaners in the early 1990s. CEO John O'Brien took this successful concept and used his considerable experience to structure a sophisticated franchise system. The impressive progress that ensued rested on these solid foundations.
As the system matured and marketing strategies developed, PoolWerx grew to occupy 100 territories within ten years.
Following the acquisition of our 200th territory not long after, PoolWerx encouraged franchisees to build on their mobile service, and establish a 'pool lifestyle' retail store to anchor these fleets. These developments prompted exciting results.
Today, PoolWerx is widely recognised as an innovator in both franchising and the Swimming Pool and Spa Aftermarket. Franchisees establish satellite stores with their van's intra-territory and by occupying several territories develop their small business into a strong enterprise.
Awards for franchisees and franchisor have boosted our prestige and aided further growth, as we approach 300 PoolWerx members in Australia and New Zealand.
Our success is not founded on our number of franchises, however, but in the size and turnover of each. This is evidence of our incredible internal and external growth, and our promising formula for the future.
